SEO MANAGER – Contractor full time remote

As we continue to expand our team, we are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced SEO Manager to join us remotely.

Position Overview:
As an SEO Manager at 226lab, you will play a crucial role in driving organic growth for our clients. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective search engine optimization strategies to increase website visibility, drive traffic, and improve search engine rankings. This is a remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere, while collaborating with our team of talented professionals.

Responsibilities:
– Conduct comprehensive keyword research and analysis to identify relevant search terms and opportunities for optimization.
– Develop and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve website performance and organic rankings.
– Optimize website content, including meta tags, headers, URLs, and other relevant elements, to enhance visibility and search engine crawlability.
– Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms to identify areas for improvement.
– Collaborate with content creators to develop and optimize high-quality, SEO-friendly content.
– Conduct regular website audits to identify technical SEO issues and recommend solutions for improvement.
– Stay updated with industry trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to ensure the implementation of cutting-edge SEO techniques.
– Provide regular reports and analysis on key SEO metrics, website performance, and campaign results to clients and internal stakeholders.

Requirements:
– Proven work experience as an SEO Manager or similar role, preferably in a digital marketing agency of at least 3 years experience.
– Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
– Proficient in using SEO tools and analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, or similar.
– Experience with on-page and off-page optimization techniques, including keyword research, content optimization, link building, and technical SEO.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Fluency in English is a MUST have.
– Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
– Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
– Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
– Passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the SEO industry.
